THE INTERIOR RENOVATION AND FURNISHING OF A PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN BUSHKILL, PENNSYLVANIA. THE HOUSE HAS TWO MAIN VEINS, THE CREEK THAT RUNS ALONGSIDE IT, AND THE WEIGHTED FIREPLACE. THESE TWO FEATURES OF SITE AND ARCHITECTURE WERE THE STARTING POINT FOR THE DESIGN. FINDINGS FROM THE FOREST AND RIVER ARE BROUGHT WITHIN. WHILE WEIGHTED FURNITURE BRING MASS TO THE SPACE WITH CHISELED FORMS. NATURAL WOODS, AND VARIED SPECIES BRING THE OUTSIDE IN, WITH WINDOWS THAT ONLOOK TO THE WILDLIFE THAT OFTEN WALK BY. WE WERE VERY INSPIRED BY THE WILDERNESS WITH THIS DESIGN.
